Going to the Fair Summer 2008

For this LO, I took my best (although not great) picture I had of the whole fair....enlarged it across my background...erased the edges with a grundgy brush...{did you know that any brush you have for painting can be turned into an eraser too!} So after getting my edges looking pretty good I did a few overlays and grudged up the ink edge. Then just created stroked pictures and placed around to make sure the big Ferris Wheel could still be seen. I also am learning how to create more realistic dropshadows by creating a grey box under photo, then reducing opacity to 30% or so and then warping it......very fun and I am getting better.

Tyler's School Field Trip 2008

I used a cool paper with burn holes in it from "Bygone-Gents" kit from Kim B. Created my torn paper look with Edges from Gunheild. The Patriotic tag came from RCMama Designs- "Let Freedom Ring" freebie.
















The other papers came from a freebie "Momma-mia" mini kit from Karah Fredricks

I made this template myself...look for it soon on Sunflower Scraps. I used a cute frame freebie from Weeds and Wildflowers. The stamped Alpha is from MCO (Michele Coleman) from Little Dreamer Designs.

I used Template 42 from Simply Sarah....I had to enlarge it to 12x12....I just love how this page turned out.

I used papers and elements from Summer Driggs "Courage" Kit. This is available free on her website...along with so many more amazing **free** kits
I used a cute tag from Gunhild.
The "gone Fishing" font is Big Fish Ensemble ...appropriate huh? :)

I used papers from a freebie kit called "Bohemian Summer" from Little Dreamer Designs (Michele Coleman). The little date tag is from a freebie kit by CiadosScraps and the very funky flower is from Weeds and Wildflowers.

I also used the Template 19 from Simply Yin. Her templates are great!

My Caterpillar Girl

This was a very fun page to make. I was determined to make a paper pieced caterpillar in cute paper to match layout. Honestly....it took a long time......but I think it came out adorable!

I used template freebie " temp.a.licious 1" from designs by monalisasmiles I did adjust it to fit my layout...but I like the paper strips behind photos.
The snowflakes are from a kit freebie called "Winter Boy" from
gg digital designs. I doubled up on them so they would show up
a little more. I also overlayed them with light blue paper.
